Ponravilos ochen. Strelba iz luka – klass. Konnye progulki krasivye.
Good, but the wind was strong. You need to dress warmer.
The nature is wonderful. The horses are calm. The road is a bit dusty.
Organization was lacking, we left late. But the views more than made up for it.
A tour for real men. Horses, bows, mountains.
The guide taught me archery, I hit the target three times.
Decided with my wife to celebrate our anniversary in an unusual way. Very heartfelt. The guide is super. The horses walk smoothly, the bows draw easily. The walk to the waterfall was memorable. The vacation was a success!
We went with colleagues to a corporate event, wanted something unusual. And we got it! The atmosphere in the mountains is special, you feel like a part of nature. When I was galloping on a horse through the alpine meadows, it took my breath away. And archery is fire! The instructor explained everything clearly, even those who held a bow for the first time hit the target. The photo session in national costumes added flavor. I felt the spirit of nomads, thank you!
The instructor picked a comfortable saddle. Everything was super.
We celebrated a friend's birthday, decided to arrange a surprise – a trip to the mountains. The horses are beautiful, well-groomed, the views are incredible! Especially liked archery – excitement, competition. Lunch in nature was delicious. Had a great time!
Everything was great, but the road was bumpy. The guide and instructor helped.
My son had long been asking to be taught archery, so we combined it with a trip to the mountains. The instructors are true professionals, they patiently explained and demonstrated. The horseback ride was also enjoyable, the horses are calm, and the views of the gorge are mesmerizing. Lunch in nature was delicious, especially the pilaf. My son is thrilled with the archery competition. Thank you for your patience and excellent organization!
Beautiful, but the road is dusty. The grandkids were thrilled with the bow.

FAQ
We've collected the questions travelers ask most often. Didn't find your answer? Write to us — a guide will reply in a couple of minutes.
Ask a questionYou need closed, comfortable shoes — sneakers or boots. It is windy in the mountains, so a windbreaker or jacket will come in handy. Take a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen, plus a phone or camera — the views of the alpine meadows and the waterfall are worth it. We provide the rest — horses, gear, bow and arrows — on site.
Yes, no experience is needed: on arrival, the guide-instructor introduces you to the horses and gives a safety briefing. You ride for two hours along the trails to the waterfall, then there is lunch in a clearing and archery training with an archer, also supervised by an instructor. You will not have to walk much; the main route is on horseback.
We meet at 09:00 on Republic Square and drive from there to the Kok-Zhailyau gorge. We bring you back to the meeting point at around 15:30, so the whole trip takes about six hours. If the road takes longer, the guide will let you know along the way.
The price includes the road from Almaty and back, the work of the guide-instructor, a horse with gear, ten archery shots, a hot lunch with tea and water. Separately, if you wish, you pay for souvenirs, drinks beyond lunch, a photo shoot in national costumes ($7) and additional shots ($2 for five).
The tour is a group tour, departing on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 09:00. We will check the possibility of a departure only for your company for your date on WhatsApp. Booking is just a message on WhatsApp, without prepayment; you pay on the day of the trip — Kaspi, card or cash; cancellation of the booking is free.
We make the decision about the weather on the day of departure, because it is windy in Ile-Alatau and the weather can change. If we cancel the departure, the booking is rescheduled or cancelled free of charge. The day before, check the forecast with the guide on WhatsApp and still take a windbreaker.
