Departure from Almaty
We pick you up from the city center or your hotel. We get into one SUV, meet the driver-guide and head towards the Kuldzha highway — ahead about 200 km of scenic road.

Moon Canyon (Uzunbulak)
First stop off the beaten path: gray-striped hills resembling the lunar surface. Only 4WD can get here — great shots without the crowd.

Valley of Castles
The main Charyn Canyon: red walls up to 150 meters, castle-like formations and viewpoints over the gorge. We descend via an eco-trail to the river and walk along the stone towers.

Lunch on the Riverbank
Break by the water in the shade of the Ash Grove. You can have a picnic, relax and cool your feet in the Charyn River before the second part of the route.

Red and Dark Canyons
We move by jeep to lesser-known canyons — reddish and almost black rocks, narrow corridors and views that require an off-road vehicle.
17:00
Way Home
We head back to Almaty. On the way — a stop for tea and sunset steppe landscapes. Return to the city approximately by 8:30 PM.

Ask a questionThe price per person already includes transfer from the city and back, guide accompaniment, and entrance tickets to national parks. Meals and accommodation for multi-day tours are listed separately in the program.
For sightseeing and day trips (Charyn, BAO, Medeu), no preparation is needed—anyone can handle it. For trekking at Kok-Zhaylau or Kolsai, basic stamina is required; most tourists without experience can manage the route.
It is cooler in the mountains than in the city, so take a windbreaker and comfortable shoes even in summer. The guide will send a specific packing list for your tour via WhatsApp after booking.
Yes, we take children with parents on sightseeing excursions and day trips. For mountain trekking, we recommend age 10 and up—we will suggest a suitable route.
We monitor road and pass conditions in advance. If the departure is impossible as planned, we will offer an alternative direction on the same date or reschedule the booking without losing the prepayment.
