We had a delicious time, tried kumys, tea with baursaks. Aliya told us a lot of interesting things. We went on this tour as a family, including children. The kids especially liked the sweets — chak-chak and khvorost. At the bazaar we bought nuts and spices to take home. Lunch was filling, with vegetarian options for my wife. The shelpek baking master class — the children were delighted, they made flatbreads themselves. We got a bit tired, but satisfied. The gift set of sweets was a pleasant surprise.

Shubat didn't appeal to me, but the rest was tasty. My friend and I chose this tour to get acquainted with Kazakh cuisine. We started at the Green Bazaar, where we tried various fruits and nuts. Then there was tea with baursaks — really liked it. Lunch at the restaurant: beshbarmak and manti are beyond praise. The shelpek master class was exciting, though the dough turned out to be capricious. At the end, a gift with sweets awaited us. Overall an excellent tour, but shubat is an acquired taste, I didn't appreciate it.

We were relaxing with friends for a few days and decided to diversify our walks with food. Beautiful city and delicious food, I recommend it. At the bazaar we tried kumys and shubat, and for lunch we had beshbarmak and manti. The only thing is, we didn't have quite enough time at the bazaar; we wanted to look at everything.

We went with colleagues after work to unwind. The tour is excellent, everything as described: the bazaar, tastings, and lunch. The guide told us a lot of interesting things about the products, it was informative. I especially liked the tea with baursaks in the ethno-cafe, the atmosphere is cozy. Lunch at the national restaurant — beshbarmak and manti are top-notch. It was a bit confusing that the group was large, but it didn't spoil the impression. I recommend it to anyone who wants to try local cuisine.

The guide Dinara was just on fire—she told us everything about the food and the city. We took this tour with our family to introduce the kids to local cuisine. The kids liked the sweets chak-chak and khvorost the most, while we appreciated the beshbarmak. The atmosphere at the bazaar and in the cafe was great.

We came with my husband for the weekend; we had long wanted to try real Kazakh cuisine. Everything was tasty and interesting; at the bazaar we tasted fruits and spices, then had tea with baursaks in a cozy cafe. Only at the end we got a bit tired, since the whole route was on foot.

We went with colleagues after work to unwind a bit. The departure was delayed by 10 minutes, but that's a small thing—the tour is excellent. We liked the coffee break with baursaks and jam, as well as lunch at the restaurant. At the end we received a gift with Kazakh sweets—nice.

We were passing through with a friend and decided to take a gastro tour to get to know the city a bit through food. Zhanna organized everything very well; at the bazaar we tried lots of fruits and nuts. We especially liked the shelpek master class—we baked the flatbreads ourselves. Lunch with beshbarmak was filling, and at the end they even gave us sweets as a gift.

My sister and I had long wanted to try real Kazakh cuisine, and this tour seemed like the perfect option. Dinara showed us hidden coffee shops, very atmospheric, we didn't even know there were such places in the center. At the Green Bazaar we tried many fruits and nuts, everything fresh. The shelpek master class was especially memorable — we baked flatbreads ourselves, it was fun. Lunch at the restaurant exceeded expectations: beshbarmak was very tasty. The only thing is, I would have liked more time at the bazaar, but overall excellent. Thanks for the gifts at the end!

Dress for the weather and choose comfortable shoes: from the meeting point in the centre you walk to the Green Bazaar and then on to the route's stops. Take water, a smartphone or camera, and a good appetite. If you are unsure about the weather on your date, we will clarify in WhatsApp.

The route is easy: the walking stretches are short, and between them there are tastings, tea with baursaks, lunch and a master class where you sit or stand at a table. No special preparation is needed, but comfortable shoes will noticeably make the walk easier. If anyone has health restrictions, write to us in WhatsApp in advance.

Yes, the pace is calm: short walks alternate with pauses at the table, and there are vegetarian options at lunch. Children usually enjoy shaping shelpek and trying sweets, while older guests enjoy the tea and the unhurried rhythm. If anyone has dietary specifics, let us know in WhatsApp, and we will clarify for your date.

The meeting is at 10:00 in the city centre, at 100 Zhibek Zholy Street, where a foodie guide meets you and introduces the group. We finish at 15:00 also in the centre, so after the tour there will be time for your own plans. The guide will confirm the exact meeting and finishing point in WhatsApp before departure.

The price includes the work of a foodie guide, all tastings at the Green Bazaar, lunch at a national restaurant with a main course and a drink, a shelpek master class, tea with sweets, and a gift set of treats. Separately, there are only personal expenses: souvenirs, extra drinks and insurance. No transfer is needed: the tour is a walking one and starts in the centre.

The tour format is a group one, with departures daily; for your own group, write to us in WhatsApp — we will clarify for your date. Booking is made by message, without prepayment, and you pay on the day of the trip: Kaspi, card or cash. Cancellation of the booking is free.
