Group meets and departs from Almaty by car. The drive to the Ili River takes about two hours. On the way, you can bring a snack and drinks.

Arrival at the bank of the Ili River, where a boat awaits you. Safety briefing and boarding the boat. The guide will tell you about the plan for the day and the fishing features in this area.

Heading out on the water
Departure by boat along the Ili River. First stop for fishing at a promising spot. The guide will help with the rig and advise how to catch carp and zander.

Lunch break. You can have a snack with the food you brought or enjoy the river view. The guide will suggest changing the fishing spot if the bite is slow.

Ask a questionDeparture from Almaty is at 06:30, and the drive to the Ili River takes about two hours. A boat is waiting for you on the shore, we set off on the water at 09:00, and the fishing itself ends at 16:00. We arrive back in the city at around 19:00–20:00.
Take comfortable clothing and footwear for the weather, a hat and sun protection — you spend almost the whole day on the boat. Take water and a light snack; lunch takes place right on the water. A charged phone or camera will also come in handy to capture your catch and the river views.
The effort required is minimal: you are on the boat all day, and there are no walking sections in the programme. No experience is needed — the guide helps with the tackle and explains how to catch carp and zander.
