Reviews
Since childhood I dreamed of hunting in the mountains, and finally I got ready. We went with friends in September — the weather was great, the hunt was successful. The ranger knows his stuff, showed the ibex habitats, helped track the trophy. The first days we acclimatized, went on reconnaissance. We were accommodated in the camp, given instructions. The jeep transfer went fine. The trophy was processed and taken out. Overall I liked it, I recommend it.

FAQ
We've collected the questions travelers ask most often. Didn't find your answer? Write to us — a guide will reply in a couple of minutes.
Ask a questionBring clothing for mountain weather: comfortable, broken-in footwear and clothes you can layer, plus a hat and sun protection. You should also bring water, a light snack, and a charged phone or camera — in the mountains, connection and good shots are never a bad thing. The guide will go over the remaining camp logistics before departure.
The route is mountainous: after two days of getting to base camp, two more days are for altitude adaptation with short outings, then come the main hunting days tracking ibex. It's best to decide based on how he feels and his mountain hiking experience, not his age — message us on WhatsApp and we'll work it out for your date and group composition.
Two main days plus a reserve seventh day are set aside for hunting, but you travel around the grounds in an off-road vehicle and walk on the outings after ibex. The specific distances and hiking times depend on the terrain, weather, and where the guide takes the group, so the guide will go over it before departure. The acclimatization days are included specifically so you can get into the rhythm of the mountains.
Trips run during this season, and the weather in the Dzungarian Alatau can change quickly. The program includes the seventh day as a reserve — in case of bad weather or additional attempts at ibex. We'll confirm what clothing to bring for your specific dates on WhatsApp.
The meeting point is in Almaty; we'll confirm the exact place and time for your date on WhatsApp. The journey to base camp takes the first two days of the program, and the return to the city is on the seventh day, after breaking camp and transporting the trophy. The arrival time depends on the road and weather; the guide will keep you informed along the way.
The price covers the organization of the hunt: transport along the route, the guide's work, and logistics with stops. Personal expenses, meals outside what's agreed, and tickets to individual sites are paid separately. The trophy fee is paid separately and depends on the horn length of the ibex taken: from €2,600 for an ibex with horns up to 115 cm.
The format is private, so the group goes on its own dates in September–November; we hold the booking based on a WhatsApp message, no money needed in advance. You pay on the day of the trip — via Kaspi, by card, or in cash, and cancellation of the booking is free. Since ibex hunting is a seasonal thing, it's best to message us for your date in advance.
